About TRSigns

TRSigns began in 2016 as a simple hobby—just a way to pass the time while my husband, Christopher, was out to sea and I was home raising our kids. I started making decorative signs for our home, not really knowing what I was doing, but loving the process. When our Navy journey ended and we settled in Texas, we saw an opportunity: could this hobby become something more?

I started small, rebuilding local connections and selling at craft shows. By 2021, I was a vendor at nearly every event people invited me to. It was exhausting but invaluable—I learned what TRSigns could be. By 2024, I knew I wanted to take my business online, but technology felt overwhelming. Instead, I focused on what I did best: word-of-mouth sales, building a solid reputation, and crafting quality signs for my community. Along the way, Christopher became my best (and unpaid) employee, helping me take on every custom request we could handle.

Then came the game-changer: our UV printer. In September 2024, we finally had the tool we had been saving for—our "coolest toy" yet. We printed on everything, experimenting with possibilities. That’s when I realized something: small businesses needed better signage at affordable prices.

Where We’re Headed

As we rebrand TRSigns, our focus is shifting toward signage solutions that empower other small businesses. We’ve spent years learning from peers in the laser and UV printing world, attending conferences, and engaging with business communities. Now, we’re launching our website (slowly but surely!) to make it easier for customers to connect with us.
